Classes

Natasha offers multiple styles of Pilates Reformer classes held in Fredericton at the University of New Brunswick at the Richard J CURRIE CENTER.

What is a Reformer?

A Pilates Reformer is basically a fancy sliding bed that gently—but firmly—reminds your muscles they’ve been slacking.

It’s part of Pilates, and it uses springs, straps, and a moving platform to make simple-looking movements surprisingly humbling.

Think:

  • You push → it pushes back

  • You pull → it resists

  • You think “this looks easy” → it proves you wrong

It’s low-impact, great for your core, and somehow manages to feel both relaxing and like a personal betrayal by your muscles.

In short: a Reformer is a polite torture device that leaves you stronger than when you started.

Reformer Flow

Reformer Flow is your full-body wake-up call—served with a side of creativity. Expect smooth, flowing sequences that keep things interesting while sharpening your technique, coordination, and control. The Pilates Reformer gets a proper spotlight here, proving it’s far more than just a fancy sliding bed.

Whether you’re brand new or practically on a first-name basis with your core muscles, this class meets you where you are—and then nudges you a little further. Even seasoned pros won’t get to coast.

You’ll leave feeling longer, stronger, and suspiciously well-balanced—like someone who definitely drinks enough water and makes excellent life choices.

Reformer Sculpt

Reformer Sculpt is where intensity meets elegance—with just enough burn to remind you you’re alive. Designed for intermediate to advanced movers who know their way around a workout, this high-energy class uses resistance props to wake up muscles you forgot you had. Expect serious core stability work, strength challenges, and endurance pushes—all delivered with a smooth, flowing rhythm. You’ll leave feeling stronger, slightly smug, and very much invigorated.

Pilates Flow

This mat-based class is all about helping your body move better, feel stronger, and glide through life with a little more ease. We’ll work the muscles you actually need using Pilates-inspired exercises and functional movement patterns that build strength, flexibility, and confidence. Desk job? Athlete? Somewhere in between? You’re welcome here. Every class is different, so your muscles (and your brain) stay happily on their toes. Come play, explore, and discover all the cool things your body can do!
